Brenda Schoepp
Brenda has dedicated her career to the empowerment of individuals in agriculture and food in Canada and around the world. She is the recipient of awards in leadership, diversity and communication. She believes in having bold conversations with a multitude of stakeholders.
“I thrive on inspiring and empowering individuals to navigate complexity and turn challenges into opportunities for personal growth. My passion lies in connecting with engaged people who share a vision for meaningful change and then weaving their diverse perspectives into high-value strategic outcomes that are the foundation for abundant lives, successful farms and businesses and resilient communities. In every role I take on, I am committed to building collaborative, impactful, and joyous environments where individuals, families, managers, leaders and teams feel empowered to contribute.”
“My lived experience is global and diverse and I appreciate that agriculture, and our world, is more than production. It is a tapestry of people, stories, and communities that shape our food systems and our shared future. As a writer and speaker, I use language as a bridge to bring stories to life and to spark conversations that matter. From there we build the framework to move forward. As a farmer I know the back story, and as a strategic leader I invite the possible. As a mentor, I strive to ignite that transformational experience that changes lives. ”
“From facilitation to empowering the next generation of leaders, my goal is to ignite inspiring conversation that is grounded in curiosity. My deepest belief is in the power of people to individually and collectively create their own change. My vision and ethic contribute to a space where stakeholders feel welcome to have a seat at the table. A table set with authenticity, respect, empathy, courage and generosity.”
Brenda is a Nuffield Scholar (2012) and holds a Master of Arts in Global Leadership (2019) from Royal Roads University.
